Anne Thomas Evans Biography
Director, Producer

Anne Thomas Evans, was born in Gary, Indiana to the name Debbie Anne Thomas.  After marrying and divorcing young, Anne decided to pursue her dreams of being a performer.  She consequently put herself through college where she studied theatre in all its aspects, acting, singing and directing.  A natural at all three, Evans, followed her heart, against all advice from her family, and moved to Los Angeles to make her dream come true.

Once in Los Angeles, Evans found the Sanford Meisner School of Acting and completed their three year program.  Upon graduation, Evans consistently worked in both television and film.  She’s co-starred on television shows ranging from soap operas like The Young and the Restless to hard hitting dramas like Crossing Jordan, Cold Case, and The West Wing.  Her fantastic smile has also graced several Apple commercials.  Her most recent theatrical performance was as Beneatha in the critically acclaimed Raisin at the Long Beach International City Theatre.

Anne Thomas Evans took a hiatus from the business to begin her life with her new husband.  Now back from this short break, Evans resurfaces as a director of the one-woman show written and performed by her fellow Meisner classmate, Nafeesa Monroe.

Evans’ undeniable talent and passion shine through everything she touches.  Even so, her future as an actress, singer and director shines even brighter.
